This week is going to be rough
Well, this week is going to be a rough one. Yesterday (Tuesday the 19th), I had my appointment to revieve my spinal nerve block injections. All I can say is holy crap was it not only painful, but I am still very soar today. I was ordered from the doctor not to life more then 10 pounds for 1-2 days. My one year old daughter is 20lbs...so needless to say she has been at my mom's house since yesterday. I am lost without her! Hopefully I get some relief soon and can get on with the week. I hope next week will be better.

ReplyDeleteMan, do I know how you feel being sick and in pain,wanting nothing more than to simply lay down on the couch and rest, yet life must go on. There is schoolwork and housework and the 24/7 demands of a small child. It is not easy. I too am suffering from an illness and see this week as a challenge due to that fact. I was diagnosed with MRSA Monday and actually had to get the wound reopened and drained all over again as it is not getting better. All I can do is hope for a better outcome when I go for a wound check again Saturday. I am glad you have your mom nearby to help you with your daughter so that you can get the rest I'm sure you need. As for the class and writing this paper,I'm sure that if you just keep at it and plugging away, you'll be fine. I hope next week doees indeed find you better.
Hello Ashley. I have also tried the spinal block and I agree it is awful. Just remember being away from your little one for a few days is better than being away in the hospital. Hoping you feel better soon.

It is really hard being away from your child(ren),even when you need a break and finally get away you still fine yourselve thinking about them. Ashley I hope you feel better.

ReplyDeleteI have never had a spinal block before, but it sounds painful. I pray that you have a speedy recovery so that you can be reunited with you little girl. I know it must be hard for you to be away form her, especially since you mentioned that your husband is on the road all the time. I hope you get better soon.
